I work collaboratively with you to develop personalised strategies that empower you to overcome challenges and achieve your mental health goals. Together, we’ll focus on fostering self-awareness, building resilience, and creating meaningful change in a compassionate and supportive space. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, loss and grief these sessions are designed to support your journey towards healing and personal growth.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy CBT

CBT is a highly effective form of talk therapy helping individuals manage and overcome challenges by identifying, understanding, and transforming unhelpful thought patterns and behaviours. This evidence-based approach is widely used to treat a variety of conditions, including anxiety, panic attacks, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), phobias, and low mood. Through ongoing research and advancements, CBT continues to evolve, offering new techniques and strategies to support individuals on their journey to a better quality of life.

Interpersonal Psychotherapy for Depression IPT

IPT is a structured and evidence-based form of psychotherapy that aims to alleviate symptoms of depression, by improving interpersonal relationships and social functioning.

Depressive symptoms often arise as a direct response to unresolved disputes, role transitions, grief, or social isolation. IPT helps individuals enhance their communication skills, build healthier connections, and ultimately experience relief from their symptoms. IPT offers a focused and effective approach through improved interpersonal functioning.

Tailored Neurodivergent-affirming Support

Understanding individual needs is key. Resources such as tailored therapies can make a meaningful difference. With strenghts-based therapeutic support and by fostering an inclusive and respectful  environment, individuals with neurodivergence can work towards overcoming difficulties and harness their unique strengths.

Frequently asked questions

What is the first step to getting help?

The first step is to contact me via this website, providing your contact number to schedule a free 15min initial consultation.

Is Psychological therapy right for me?

If you’re not sure if you need psychological therapy at this time, do consider coming in for an initial consultation as there is no obligation to commit to treatment. A one-off consultation can help to clarify things and may point potential courses of action to resolve any difficulties.

How long is each therapy session?

Each therapy session typically lasts 50 minutes.

Do you offer online therapy sessions?

Yes, I offer both in-person and online therapy sessions for your convenience. In-person sessions take place in Bedford Consulting rooms (Mon-Fri) or The Resolution Clinic in St Albans (Sat).

How long does therapy last?

Each treatment plan is individually tailored. This is typically decided during the assessment phase. A review of the plan is considered every 4 sessions depending on progress or ongoing difficulties.

Which therapy approach will be useful to me?

I have a wealth of knowledge and experience in various therapeutic approaches, which will be tailored to you depending on your needs and the difficulties you would like to address.

Fees and session funding

Fee for face to face and online sessions is £110. Sessions can be self-funded or funded by the insurers listed on the Referrals page.

What days can you offer therapy sessions?

I work in Bedford Monday to Thursday after 4pm and Friday - all day. My clinic in St Albans is on Saturday only.
